You Can Hear A Pin Drop

No, it's not quite that quiet in the office this morning, but almost.  As I begin typing this post, I hear a train whistle blowing up the hill from downtown, the Campanille chiming on the half-hour, a solitary bird chirping, foot steps outside the office door, my clock ticking, a door being shut down the hall, music lightly playing on someone's computer, a cell phone ringing or alarm going off, and the rustling of my hair brushing against my jacket collar as I cock my head to the side to listen for other sounds of a Monday morning at work.
