Saving Energy

The energy saving setting on the copier kicks in on its own when not used for some random unknown-to-me period of time.  This saves countless dollars some how.  However, did anyone ever think that while I'm standing at the copier waiting for the copier to warm up, it's a total waste of my energy?  So at the same time they are saving money on the energy it takes to run the copier, they are paying me to stand and wait.  Hmmmmm....
