In One Ear and Out the Other

Thoughts running through my mind at 9:20 p.m.

• Granddaughters.  Love 'em.  Sugar was here all day with Gampa as she didn't feel well.  She spends Tuesday night with Son.  We hadn't seen her for a week because of Mother's Day.  We watered flowers before they "boom" wearing her cow rain boots.  So good to see her.  Blueberry called me this evening and we had a nice little chat.  She told me all about her day.  Apparently, she'd been very busy.  That's the first time she "talked" to me on the phone.  She cried when Mommy took the phone from her.  Hope we can keep that up for many years.  (Not the crying.)
• Social Media.  Email.  Internet.  Be careful.  Be vewy careful.
• Time.  There's not enough.  We work Monday through Friday in anticipation of the weekend.  It arrives.  It's too short.  Then it's Monday again.  Before you know it, you're either handed a gold watch or kicked out the door.  Where does the time go?
• Treasures and knickknacks.  If we're told to lay up treasures in heaven, then why do they say you can't take it with you?  
• The furniture polish and rag were brought out an hour ago.  Bye.
